Terms of service
These terms cover the ground rules for using this website and for ordering parts from RGV 4x4 Supplies.
Using this website
Everything on this site is general information about the kinds of parts we catalog and the ranges they fall in. It is not a quote, and it is not a promise that a given truck will come to a given figure. Prices move with the year and the trim, so the only binding number is the written estimate we prepare for your vehicle.
- The site is general information, not a quote
- Costs appear as ranges, never fixed prices
- Your written estimate is the binding figure
Estimates, approval and the work
We write an estimate once we have matched a part to your vehicle. Nothing is ordered and no work begins until you approve it. If a job turns up something the estimate missed, such as a seized fastener or a bracket that a sensor changes, we stop, explain it and get your approval for the extra before we spend it.
Payment, pickup and booked work
Payment terms sit in the estimate and are confirmed when the order is placed or the work is booked. Pickup for a carry-out part and a booked time in the bay both depend on stock and on the shop's schedule. If a slot has to move, we call as soon as we know so a truck is not left waiting.
Returns on parts
An unused stock part in its packaging can usually be returned for a refund or credit within a short window, and we tell you the window when you buy it. A special-order part is often non-returnable or carries a restocking fee once a supplier has shipped it, and electronic or electrical parts cannot be returned once they are fitted. We say which rule applies before you order, not after.
Warranty and liability
We back the workmanship of any fitting we perform and pass on the manufacturer's coverage for the parts we supply. A part's own warranty is the maker's, not ours, and a claim is handled through that cover. We are not responsible for indirect losses, and our liability stops where the law sets it, without cutting any right you hold that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
These terms can change as the way we work or the law changes. The version in force is the one on the site when you use it. Where a change matters, we flag it on this page rather than leave it in the small print.
